This is potentially a great app, but it desparately needs to be updated. The code is a bit buggy, and bloaty.

No, seriously, 1,99 for this crappy app, no way. 10s after install, go to trash. Sorry Dudes. (Facebook can do it during an one night hackaton, or with a simple pluggin).

It opens Facebook in a special browser window. It just doesn’t bring anything essantials. I won’t be using it.

I should have read the other reviews before paying for this app… I am so disappointed. The app doesn’t bring anything new: it’s just Facebook in a browser window. Seriously? Keep Chrome opened and you got it.

It’s just perfect. Finally there’s a simple notification/communication tool for Facebook.

I bought this basically to disconnect my messenger from the main website. Dissappointed. I dont know why the heck the messenger windows wouldnt clear the sent text after I hit Enter…. i end up sending the same message as previous with the new message text butted onto it. Isnt that Messenger Client 101? You’re welcome for the two bucks… Oh and there’s ZERO entries in the FAQ and KB on your website? THANKS.

We dont give 5 star ratings lightly. We’ve tried every Facebook Mac App on the app store, because we were looking for a way to have Facebook seem more integrated, without having to open up a web browser, we’ve also discussed with the developer and seen the excellent upcoming features, all old issues that we’ve heard of are no longer present (such as a messaging bug) in the current release.

Finally a Facebook messenger app for my mac that just works. Keeps me from having to log onto Facebook in my web browser or type out long messages on my phone. I’d like to see Facebook audiocalls in a future version if possible.

I like it, and in a weird way, it has lead to me using FaceBook less, because rather than logging in and browsing and wasting time, I just click on notifications. I thin its saved me quite a bit of time. The one thing Id like to see added is support for animated gifs. As of right now they dont show, and while it seems weird to knock an entire star off the rating for this, I find many of the gifs pretty amusing. Once gif support arrives, Ill adjust my rating accordingly. Otherwise I love it, its great for messaging and going onto FB less. Solid tool, the best Ive seen and definitely worth the price.

I was looking for facebook browser replacement for long time. I tried many of them. First impression is very good! Looks like it works faster than facebook webpage. Plays facebook movies in html5 that is big advantage.

I have been searching for an app like this for while.

1. Very slow. 2. Taking 450 Mb memory works in background. 3. Minimalized conversations are not refreshing automatically. 4. Wasted money :(

Tired of opeing browser each time new notification hits, too distractive. I reply to a message, then something steals my attention, then I waste a good hour of stupid browsing and liking. Apparently all other “native" solutions including XMPP transport fail to provide me history and all conversations. Though this nicely-packaged web views are great.

Worked good for about 2 weeks. Then links got harder to load and now crashes laptop when clicking on links. Fix more issues please and maybe I’ll reinstall. Could be my year old macbook that Apple Care was unable to resolve problems with and refunded me my money for though.

I bought this app for the messaging feature. But few critical issues make this app unusable: - Initiate new conversation: you can not focus on the text box. - Backspace is block, and there’s no way to delete text in the text box. - Windows does not show up in cmd+tab. Very hard to locate. This app looks promising, so please fix them!

have not been able to open the app and use it correctly since the day I purchased it,,sorry!

Hopefully it will soon. Otherwise, it seems like you can get most of the benefits by using Fluid or something similar.

app is just a skinned web browser, not worth the extra cost.
