Do not use

This app has been having a lot of issues lately including group chats on facebook not opening and very slow performance in general. I would not recommend it be downloaded.

VERY glitchy and no support, buyer beware

This app simply doesn’t work as promised. At the moment: GIFs don’t play, video sometimes plays, sometimes doesn’t, photos have stopped showing when I click on them to enlarge/view. Several messages to support, both on their website and on their Facebook page, have gone unanswered for weeks. Really uncool, really disappointing. Buyer beware...

dead and done?

I loved this program, but have been running into trouble with it not opening up new screens when clicking on notifications. I emailed the developer but it bounced back. App dead and gone?

Need an option to remove the Tab!

I wish if you could give us an option to remove the Tab from the Browser portion of the app. So it will look more like an app, instead of a Browser.

Still the best, power consumption needs work

I still love this app, however I would like to bring attention to this apps large energy footprint. It is constantly in the “Using significant energy” category on OS X, even in the background. As this app is for Facebook and it is almost always open in the background this adds up and kills the battery quite a bit quicker. I would really love the next few updates to focus on optimization and power consumption as the features and UI are great already and the battery issue is quite annoying. Old Review: I love that its minimal, just the three menus: friends messages, notifications. of course if you need more info it opens up windows, but its perfect and just what i wanted. The chat boxes are small although scalable. They function like they should and have all features, update instantly, and dont try to do anything fancy. Just simple Facebook UI we all know. Great job dev.

Not compelling.

If I used Facebook on my Mac more, I might find this app more appealing (I interact with social media much more on my iOS devices). To me it breaks just often enough to ask, “am I saving anything, accessing this from the menubar rather than just pulling it up in Safari?”
